No question too small...

What if I can’t come for the whole weekend?

While we hope everyone can be there for as much of the weekend as possible, we understand that our friends and family lead busy lives.  Please come for as much or as little of the weekend as you can.  The Big Event will be happening on Sunday evening, so if you absolutely must choose one day, that would be the one to pick!

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Sort of; for The Big Event, we recommend you dress semi-formal / casual. Wear whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable.  Please keep in mind that many areas at the camp are not paved.  If heels make you feel like a rockstar, go for it. Just make sure you have someone to hold on to in a pinch!

How should I get there?

There are many options for transportation.  Please go to the Location page of this site for more information.

What if I get lost or have a question for the camp?

If you need to contact the camp directly for any reason, you can call the Welcome Center at 845-221-2771 ext. 100. Someone should be there to answer your questions. But please check our website first, as the answer may already be here.

Do I need to plan my own meals?

Nope! From the time you check in on Saturday to the time you check out on Monday, all meals will be provided, starting with Saturday night's dinner.  If you have specific dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know. If you plan on arriving during the day on Saturday, please make accommodations for yourself for lunch. Feel free to pack a bag lunch and picnic at the camp!

Can I bring alcohol?

No.  The camp has strict restrictions that do not allow for external alcohol to be brought to the property. We will have plenty of alcohol available however, and we doubt it will be necessary for you to bring your own.

Can I smoke?

No. Well, not on camp grounds.  If you need to smoke you'll need to walk towards the entrance of the camp and do it outside of the camp grounds. We ask that you respect the Camp's request.

Should I bring a gift?

What we want most of all is to have you with us on our special day.  Your presence will be present enough! But if you hate showing up to parties empty-handed, we have gone ahead and registered for a few items at Bed Bath and BeyondREI, and Bloomingdale's.  But please, no pressure!
